A great commentary on this and a reminder of who we are as Christian people.

I was reading a universal religion textbook and it stated the most overlooked feature of christianity is that we need to love our enemies and pray for them; the last time i checked killing them is not loving them.
We also need to start thinking about why these people are mad at us?
I am not saying that the people who did 911 or anything like that are justified, but maybe we are partly to be blamed for how we treat other countries, for instance, I am sure that one day invading Iraq will come back to haunt us and we won't have anyone else to blame but ourselves.

I couldn't agree more with you Fred. We, I, You need to do all we can to understand other peoples and cultures. Sometimes we are not aware of the hardships we cause others. I wonder too what is behind all this.

A good example of this is when the Zionist movement happened and we supported Israel that’s not right these people are stealing the Palestinians land. The British Mandate forced Great Britain to split up its colonies and it just so happened Palestine was one of them and because the Jews had such hardship they sent them to Palestine and the Zionist took over and America gives them weapons and fule how is this fair????? Think of it like this say you had a gigantic diamond in your house and three people walked into your house and started to split the diamond amongst themselves those people would probably go to jail this is the same thing that is happening with Israel and Palestine.
